It’s tough but I get it, it’s hard to learn class consciousness in America unless you get lucky with who you meet/what you read even for people whose lives are much more precarious than that of highly paid tech workers! I think the mission driven culture is probably most similar to nonprofit employees who are also encouraged to identify with their employers, but their salaries are much lower so the exploitation is much more obvious
